History of Us

Our Roots
Circle of Faith began in March 2020, during the global pandemic, when a group of concerned citizens came together to support Citizens in crisis from their hometowns of Sicily Island, Wisner, and Gilbert, LA.

Our Mission
Our Mission at Circle of Faith, CDC is to create vibrant, sustainable communities where low-income families have access to safe, affordable housing, economic opportunities, and fresh, healthy food. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization born out of the pandemic, we understand the challenges facing underserved, minority farmers, and rural communities, and we are committed to bridging the divide.
We believe in economic empowerment through education, training, and access to resources that enable families to build self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyles. Our goal is to create affordable housing that meets the unique needs of each community, while promoting environmentally-friendly practices that reduce our carbon footprint and protect our natural resources.

Our Future
As we continue to evolve, we are expanding our initiatives to include a Community Learning Garden. This initiative will serve as an essential hub for education, workforce development, and sustainable food production.
